Ballet fun
Claire loves to dance. She was young for the class, but she was one of the most focused students. I was so proud of how hard she worked. It was very neat to see her with older students, and working just as hard. She is growing up!

Little chef
We made faux cliff bars. They are AMAZING! Claire had fun helping, and since they are no bake it was quick and easy. The bars retain such a chewy texture that some of the baked granola bars lose. Claire enjoyed the spoon lick-ability aspect the most!

Happy Birthday!
Three years, three birthday parties of fun. Growing so big, look how little you were at one.

Getting so big look at you at two.

Sassy and free here you are turning three!

Happy birthday Roo!
Claire demanded a pink castle cake for her birthday. She has seen too many episodes of the cake boss. So I had my work cut out for me.
I made fondant for the first time.

Baked a scratch strawberry double layer cake. And began assembling.

Finished!

Beautiful day
It was unseasonably warm today. It was 5 degrees shy of making a new high temp record! This is the type of winter I prefer. If I could schedule winter it would be one really good snow lasting three days and then be done.

I love our little walks on the trail. I forget how much we all need the walk. To just be outside, to find the coolest rock, to dig in the mud, and to climb trees.
