New Bonnets!

The warm sun is growing high, and we love being out in the warm sun. But our heads need to be protected. An acquaintance is developing a bonnet pattern, and we are helping her test it out. I think they turned out very cute, and they were quick to sew.

Locked Out

We have old doors that latch and always lock. They have buttons to push to keep the latch disengaged, and that is what I always do when I go out with the girls. Well Claire is adventurous and out going. She decided she was done playing outside, so she went in. Shut the doors, because shutting doors is fun. Then banged on the door to let us know she shut the door. Well in the process of banging on the door she managed to hit it hard enough to release the lock, and lock us out. So we called daddy, and thankfully he works close. He came and rescued us. Poor Claire was so distraught from the whole ordeal!

Earth Day

Happy Earth Day. It doesn't seem that we have to try to hard to celebrate Earth Day here.
Emma made an Earth Day cake, out of earth!

Self portrait

Often I find myself hiding behind the camera. The phantom family member, but I captured this of myself. I rather like it. I think it is romantic and rural looking which is ironic because we live in a rather big city.

Park

Photobucket
Bumblebee intensely watching sister play. Probably thinking "Sis, give me a little bit longer and I will show you how to rule this park." Papillon loves the park, but can be timid when it comes to the equipment. I think Bumblebee will not have the same problem.

Play Time

The best thing about baby bumblebee sleeping is that little papillon and I get to play. Papillon set up the scene with minimal help, and we played and played. Moments like this easily get lost in the I have to do this, and that. "Not now Papillon." "Mama is busy." For once though I stopped and let her have a special one on one playtime. I need to remember to do it more often.
