The moon shines bright.
The stars give light,
A little before it is day.
So bless you all
both great and small,
and have a joyful May!
I am learning more about May Day. It wasn't something we celebrated when I was young. I remember doing the May pole in grade school, but that was the extent of our May Day festivities. A fellowblogger made baskets of flowers for the neighbors that the children delivered. I might have to do that next year. This year the girls received May cones from Grandma and Grandpa, and even though they were still pretty sick they were enjoyed.
