I am a genius, and maybe it is only in the eyes of my two year old. I have seen in the blog-o-sphere using jam jars as straw cups. But most often they involved things like drilling holes in the lids. I was not a big fan of the idea of drilling into the coated lids, creating a sharp surface, and well most of all I am lazy. The process required way more effort than my "Veruca Salt" channeling toddler would allow.
1. Get a lid from a child's to go cup. 2. Cut rim off so that it fits in your ring. 3. Place inside your ring. 4. Fill you jam jar with your child's favorite beverage. Screw on lid. Place straw in and enjoy.
